Preset loaded: JPEG, 45 KB at 200 px — inside SBI's 20–50 KB photo band. All four uploads are listed below.
Portal limits change — double-check the current notification before you submit.
Quality is lowered only as far as the floor allows. If that still isn't enough, the image is scaled down in small steps instead — downscaling looks far better than heavy compression artifacts. EXIF metadata (location, camera, serial numbers) is always removed for your privacy; colour accuracy is kept.
SBI's current advertisements for PO and Junior Associates set identical requirements, and there are four separate uploads rather than two. The photograph is 200 × 230 px at 20–50 KB; the signature 140 × 60 px at 10–20 KB; the left thumb impression 240 × 240 px (3 cm square) at 20–50 KB; and the handwritten declaration 800 × 400 px (10 × 5 cm) at 50–100 KB. All four are JPG or JPEG at 200 DPI. Copy the declaration text from the advertisement itself rather than any other source — the wording is exact, it changes between cycles, and it must be in your own running handwriting rather than capitals.
The result always lands just under it.
